Technical SEO for Homecaretherapy
Finding and fixing the indexing problems that were keeping most of a home care therapy website out of Google.

About this project
Homecaretherapy is a home care therapy business in India. Its website is how new patients and families find the service online, so the site has to be visible on Google. The screenshot above is from Google Search Console and shows the indexing problem I found when I started. Client website: homecaretherapy.in.
The problem
The Page indexing report showed that 268 pages were not indexed, spread across 10 different reasons, while only 16 pages were indexed. A page that is not indexed cannot appear in Google search, so it can never bring in visitors, however good its content is. Most of the website was invisible to the people searching for its services.
What I did
- Indexing audit: Went through every one of the 10 reasons in Search Console to find out why Google was leaving pages out, and sorted them by what mattered most for the business.
- Fixing the causes: Solved the indexing issues one reason at a time, so that the pages worth ranking were open and clear for Google to crawl and index.
- Sitemap and crawl setup: Checked the XML sitemap and robots.txt so Google is pointed to the right pages and kept away from the ones that add no value.
- Canonical and duplicate pages: Cleaned up duplicate and near-duplicate URLs so Google knows which version of each page to index.
- Site health checks: Reviewed redirects, broken links, HTTPS and page experience to remove other technical problems that hold a site back.
- Follow-up in Search Console: Requested re-indexing of the fixed pages and kept monitoring the report to confirm Google picked up the changes.
Outcome
The indexing problems on the website were solved, and the technical foundation of the site is now much healthier. With the important pages crawlable and indexable, the website can finally compete for the searches that bring in patients, and any content or SEO work done on top of it now counts.
Why technical SEO comes first
Content, keywords and backlinks only work if Google can find, read and index the pages. Technical SEO removes the barriers that block this, so it is the base that every other part of SEO stands on.
Service delivered
This project sits under my Technical SEO service. I audit and fix the technical side of your website, including crawling, indexing, speed, site structure and structured data, so search engines can understand and rank your pages.
How I approach these projects
- Audit: Crawl the site and read Search Console to find what blocks crawling and indexing.
- Prioritize: Rank the problems by their impact on visibility and business.
- Fix: Solve the issues at their cause, so they do not come back.
- Verify: Confirm in Search Console that Google has picked up the fixes.
- Monitor: Keep watching the site so new problems are caught early.
